Machinist (Second Shift)

To support our growing business, we are seeking a Machinist (Second shift) capable of producing top quality parts in a fast paced production environment. Please review the following job description and requirements, and apply if you feel you are qualified.  

Job Description

• Perform all operations involved with setting up and machining actuator parts in a production environment.
• Work from drawings and operation sheets to set up and machine parts within set tolerances using both manual and CNC machines.
• Select proper tooling and gauging required to manufacture parts within specified tolerances.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma, Technical training desirable (trade school, apprenticeship)

Requirements/Helpful Skills

• Approximately 10 years experience in a production environment
• Experience with set up and operation of various manual machine tools, including engine lathes and milling machines
• Experience in programming, set-up and operation of CNC turning and or milling machines
• Proven professional qualities such as flexibility, ability to work independently and eagerness to contribute to the operations
• Individual should be dedicated to high quality and safety standards
