Group 14 Linear Valve Actuators
Mechanical Features
 One-Step Travel Adjustment:
Group 14 linear valve
actuators are equipped with a
unique Calibar index that
allows fast and easy travel
adjustments. When a
stroke adjustment is made
with the Calibar, the
position feedback device
and end-of-travel limit
switches are automatically
adjusted at the same time.
Tight-Seater™:
 Group 14 linear valve
actuators are equipped with a
Tight-Seater™ coupling
device that ensures the
valve is positively seated
at the closed position for
tight shutoff. This device
compresses the plug into
the seat of the valve until
the drive reaches its end
of travel, for a seating
force at least equal to the
rated thrust of the valve.
 Gear Train:
The Group 14 linear valve actuator
utilizes a high-efficiency gear train
designed for high performance,
long life and minimal wear. It
consists of a combination of
precision-cut alloy steel and
ductile iron spur gears
manufactured exclusively at the
Beck factory.
