Receptionist/Sales Support

Job Description

  • Answering telephones, screening & directing calls, taking & relaying messages, maintaining & distributing call logs
  • Welcoming & screening visitors entering facility, completing badging & sign-in/sign-out
  • Ensuring knowledge of personnel whereabouts and maintaining exact and complete sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Sorting and processing all incoming mail & posting all outgoing mail
  • Scheduling appointments and reserving conference rooms
  • Performing support duties for Purchasing/Materials including creating complete Job packets
  • Performing support duties for Administration including entering approved AP invoices into ERP system, collating & mailing of weekly AP checks
  • Performing support duties for Customer Service including assembling order folders and document envelopes
  • Performing support duties for Sales & Marketing including entering target market prospects into ERP system, logging & distributing Sales Call Reports, preparing trade show literature

Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge of standardized office practices, procedures, and record keeping methods
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn specialized ERP software as needed
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional presentation
  • Independently organize own work & set priorities to meet the requirements of the position
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously while working within deadline constraints
  • Predictable and reliable attendance is required

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

  • Office environment requiring ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods.
  • Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
  • Use keyboard and read from computer, screen and reports
