Role Summary:
Join the Beck team as an experienced Sub-Assembler, building the intricate mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies that power Beck’s ultra-reliable electric actuators. Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assembly work utilizing written instructions and CAD drawings.

The job will then evolve into ownership for all sales related activities within the designated territory. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Grow revenue from an existing domestic customer base through an established sales process including, but not limited to, targeted sales visits with regular telephone and email contact.
- Expand the customer base by converting prospects to new end-users. Add targets through customer references, trade shows, and telephone cold calls. Convert prospects through a multi-call sales cycle using actuator demonstrations and cost-benefit data to build a quantifiable pro-Beck justification.
- Support customers and prospects through site visits by educating plant personnel, reviewing applications, and determining proper sizing and selection of Beck actuators.

Role Summary:
Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader to lead and facilitate CI initiatives that drive improved Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Growth, and Employee Engagement (SQDCGE) across all functions within the business. This role drives cultural transformation by embedding CI thinking into daily operations, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring sustainable improvements in SQDCGE. The CI Leader acts as a change agent, coach, and facilitator to build a company-wide culture of continuous improvement. This position reports to the Director of Operations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic CI roadmap aligned with business goals by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing process improvement opportunities.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in executing the CI roadmap through the deployment of appropriate CI tools; including Value Stream Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, Standard Work, Pull Systems, Change-over Reduction, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Analysis Value Engineering, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, and other CI tools as appropriate.
- Support leadership in embedding CI thinking into management systems and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain appropriate KPIs and visual management tools to monitor progress.

Join our team as a Field Service Technician and keep Beck actuators—the gold standard in mission-critical applications—running flawlessly at customer sites worldwide. You’ll commission new installations, troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical systems, and deliver the reliability that power plants, refineries, and industrial processes depend on. Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, a high school diploma, 2 years of technical training, and 8–10 years of hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect Returned Equipment:
- Evaluate actuator mechanical subassemblies by visually checking for signs of excessive wear or other mechanical issues.
- Interpret schematics to trouble shoot electrical deficiencies using multimeters, hipot testers, and custom functional test equipment.
Document and Process Deficiencies:
- Electronically record all identified issues to support quoting and subsequent repair job creation.
Repair and Refurbishment:
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and refurbish actuators to restore them to like-new condition.
- Validate completed repairs using final line test equipment to ensure they operate per original specifications.
On-Site Commissioning and Service:
- Travel to customers’ facilities to commission new equipment by verifying the mechanical installation is correct and checking the customers’ power and signal connections within the actuators.
- Operate installed actuators to confirm connected equipment operates without issue.
- Conduct general service work, including troubleshooting, replacement of motors, control assemblies, transformers, electronic chassis, and digital control modules.
On-Site Reporting and Compliance:
- Document all work performed on-site, including daily travel time and service hours.
- Attend customer required safety training sessions, either online or in person, prior to site visits.

- Contribute directly to the ongoing effectiveness and optimization of core business systems, including Epicor Kinetic ERP, Salesforce CRM, and other supporting systems.
